I don't care if it's hot and sunny there, it's ok here too. I've just been to the village fete with my daughter and her family and it was lovely 8)

As for the Eco fan, Mick and Jen Edge have one on their boat and we're very impressed.

By Eco Fan, are you referring to one of these little beasties? Clicky Thingy
I've heard rave reports of them, but they sure as hell ain't cheap. Give me a few weeks I think I can make one using the same thermoelectric plates that are currently utilised in cool boxes that also keep things warm when you reverse the polarity.

If it works I'll share the findings on here, if it doesn't I'll never mention it again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

ECO fan

I think they use something like a Peltier element - http://sciencestore.co.uk/StorePeltier.asp - to make the fan go round. One day when I have time on my hands I might have a go at making one. Or maybe I'll just buy one :?
